Key Requirements

  • Customer Interaction: Patience and strong customer service skills are essential for this role.
  • Unloading Freight: This is a physically demanding job requiring attention to safety due to stacked freight.
  • Training: Will include safe unloading practices.
  • Shift: Drivers must be available Sunday through Saturday. Workdays vary depending on deliveries near the driver's home for their 34-hour reset.
  • Availability: Drivers must be flexible, as shifts and workdays vary based on delivery schedules.

Job Details

  • Average pay per week: Drivers running 600-800 miles with 3 loads per week can expect to earn between $1,400-$1,600 gross weekly.
  • Miles per week: 1500-2000 miles per week.
  • Home time: Minimum of weekly home time for a 34-hour reset.
  • Freight: 100% touch freight, deliveries to stores.
  • Load Type: Dry Van
  • Running Area: IL, WI, IN, and MI.
  • Trucks: Drivers will operate Freightliners, and Kenworth trucks. All newer models.
